Each student will make an itemized list of at least 5-10 skills that they feel confident and proficient in, also 5-10 they feel they need to learn and develop.

1. I am confident in my ability to follow through and bring tasks to completion.
2. Organizational abilities generally tend to be one of my strengths.
3. I am fairly proficient with Microsoft Word.
4. I am detail oriented, and able to problem solve in many different areas.
5. I have an excellent work ethic, and am very responsible.
6. I am reliable.
7. I am very skilled at organizing space.
8. I am very good with materials.
9. I have many years of work experience, and I am able to work well with clients and co-workers.
10. I understand process, and am able to think logically about it in depth.
11. I can often be flexible.
The following skills are ones that I need to learn and/or develop:
1. I need more practice on letting go of an idea that doesn’t work.
2. I need more self-confidence in my ability to make a career change.
3. I need more patience to research thoroughly.
4. I can often be inflexible.
5. I need to think like a business owner instead of an employee, in order for me to grow and do what I want to do.
6. Accounting is not something I have the patience for. I need to develop more patience with it.
7. I need to network more.
8. I need to improve my skill with computers, and moving from thing to thing more quickly.
9. It might be a good idea for me to spend more time promoting myself, though I’m not fond of social media.

3. I have worked as a bank teller for over 6 years and therefore have good customer service skills and interact well with clients.

6. I am proficient in video editing software such as FinalCut Pro and Premier Pro, as well as in After Effects.
7. I enjoy learning about new materials and I like experimenting.
8. I feel that when I am presented with new software, I am able to learn how to use it quickly.
5-10 Skills I fell I need to learn and develop:
1. I need to learn how to use Illustrator.
2. I would like to learn to use other software, such as InDesign.
3. I need to improve my confidence when talking about my work.
4. I need to improve my ability to speak and answer questions in a candid manner (such as during an interview, when you do not know what questions you will be asked).
5. I need to become more willing to take risks with my work.
6. I need to further develop my ability to think conceptually.
7. I need to continue to learn how to take criticism less personally.
8. I tend to see things as black or white. I need to instead see them in shades of gray.
